Math:   Identified that not all equations can be solved easily in a table and looked at the form the equation was in.  Discussed the form y = mx + b and the the "m" represents the rate of change".  We then worked on rewriting equations into y = mx +b form together and then independently using a wksht called "Between the Lines".

Math:   Without graphing and only looking at a table, we identified the Rate of Change of the x and y variables and were able to determine if it was linear or non-linear based on whether there was a constant or variable rate of change of the variables.  Practiced finding the rate of change of the variables and using ratios to determine linear or non-linear.

Cont.  1.10 "Inequalities".  Began class practicing graphing inequalities and discussing some of the different situations between the problems.  Assembled the Inequalities Foldable for our Notebook.  Filled in table of contents and glued foldable into notebook.  Filled out the first two flaps of the foldable for adding and subtracting inequalities.  Remaining of class students practiced adding and subtracting inequalities and then graphing them.
